주라영 작가는 인간의 욕망과 관련된 인간군상을 설치미술로 보여주고 해체시키는 작업을 변화를 모색하며 꾸준히 진행해 오고 있다. 인간이 이성을 잃고 맹목적으로 내달리면, 집단 이념에 갇히게 되기에 그것을 해체시키는 주체가 관람자가 되도록 한 ‘Here & now’의 주제에서 ‘Beyond here & now’로새로운 사고의 전환을 보여준다.

The artist Joo Ra-young has consistently explored and deconstructed human figures associated with desire through installation art, seeking to evoke change. In her work, she emphasizes that when humans lose their reason and blindly follow, they become trapped by collective ideologies. To counter this, she engages viewers as active participants in the deconstruction process. Her thematic shift from "Here & Now" to "Beyond Here & Now" reflects a new perspective and a transformation in thought.
