Yudal Mountain embraces Cheongho...
김경호는 해남 출신의 화가로, 해남의 자연과 풍경을 작품에 담아내는 작가이다. 주로 해남의 사계절을 스케치하고 사진으로 담아내는 그의 작품은 해남의 야산과 밭작물들이 자라나는 풍경을 정겹게 묘사한다. 유달산의 풍경을 그린 이번 작품은 유달산의 좌측은 과거의 모습으로, 우측은 오늘의 목포 모습으로 표현함으로써 목포(청호)의 어제와 오늘을 바라보게끔 한다.
Kim Kyung-ho is an artist from Haenam who captures the natural beauty and landscapes of his hometown in his artwork. His works primarily depict the four seasons of Haenam, with affectionate portrayals of the region's rolling hills and growing crops. In his latest piece, which features the landscape of Yudalsan Mountain, he contrasts the left side of the mountain as it appeared in the past with the right side showing the modern-day view of Mokpo. Through this juxtaposition, the artwork invites viewers to reflect on the past and present of Mokpo (Cheongho).
